Stupid Q #2: Rear wheel alignment
I've seen a few postings on this subject before, but I just don't trust the swing-arm marks for the adjusters. Seems to me that if your even a mm out of adjustment, your rear wheel will wear out much faster than it normally would. With that in mind, I'm looking for a simple method to determine if the wheel is aligned properly. If anyone has a method, no matter how strange it may be, please share it.

RE: Stupid Q #2: Rear wheel alignment
I use the marks on the swing arm then go for a ride. While riding, not the position of the clip ons in relation to everything. If they look straight, your rear tire is tracking straight. If the handlebars are turned a bit to the right for instance, your rear tire is tracking to the right and would there for have to be moved forward on the right adjuster, or back on the left adjuster (assuming chain tension allows moving back more). There is also a string method, but I've put new tires on this bike enough to know the markings are correct. That's my shpeil on tire alignment. Good luck.
