Do I have a rear wheel alignment issue?
I recently got some new rubber and thought I had aligned my rear wheel while installing it back on. The notches on the adjustment blocks are pretty close to being the same on either side. I measured from the center of the swingarm pivot to the center of the rear axle and both sides are dead even. However when I look at the rear sprocket, it seems to be favoring one side, such that there's a small gap between the chain and sprocket on the left side.
Does it look like I have an alignment issue or is it normal for the sprocket to not be centered in the middle of the chain?

Any insight would be appreciated.

To me, that looks fine. The sprocket is designed to have some movement with the chain. The fact you measured it and its even supports this.
On the other hand, I just gunsight the whole thing on my bike. I don't have any alignment tool.
I've heard good things about these:
