Zero- glad to hear it went well...its a pretty easy install.. yea taking the wires out helps a lot i wasnt able to get them behind the cover with harness on

 

^It's really easy to take the wires out of the harness. Took me maybe 5 minutes max once I figured out the first one. If you want, I can walk you through it?

 

ohh i got it just saying i felt it was a must to get all the wires behind the dust cover

I didn't get the wires out of harnesses, but I isolated them, so they should be fine. There isn't really enough space for everything inside the rubber sealing. I think we need some sticky forum threads here. CCTL and HIDs are very common question, and F4i section is the most crowded at all times. For some reason people go straight in here and not even look in any "How to" sections. I guess this is a topic for a thread of its own.

 

Agree 100% that is why i posted it here rather then in the "How To" section.. Maybe some sub categories like the 'canes have in their section or at least some more stickies with the common issues for the f4i
