Highway Speed

RE: Highway Speed
If this is your first bike, PLEASE be careful. Skill has nothing to do with straight-line speed, any fool can peg the throttle stop. Skill comes with braking and turning skills, and especially with skills anticipating traffic hazards. We've all been seduced by speed, but the experienced and long-lived rider knows the importance of SKILL. Go the speed limit for a few months until you have had a chance to practice the skills. It's not your last bike, its your first bike.

RE: Highway Speed
if it's been wrecked check for a crushed steering bearing. warped rotors shouldn't make the bike feel unstable unless you're breaking hard at high speeds. i ride with lower that stock pressure esp when the road and my tires are gonna get real hot. 31/40. if you don't see any counterbalance weights on your rims they are probably not in balance which will definitelycause it. also, check to see if you have a leaking fork seal. if the fluid levels are not balanced (which is quite dangerous) you will experience head shake.

RE: Highway Speed
Ok today i got a chance to take the bike back out on the highway. And it was a lot better ride. I think the wobbling i was feeling before was a combination of being my first time on the highway, it was a windy day, and maybe some underinflated tires. Thanks for the helpandyour concerns. And trust me guysI have been trying to bevery careful and trying to slowly work into the riding world.
