Not hard to do. Hmm I suppose you may be able to but I think taking the fairing off is easier than the gas tank and working around the forks etc. It is easier to put on the fairing the second time.

Update...

added a video of my problem.

also e-mailed the mcculloch guys and they said it's most likely my bulb that's the problem
