Arrow Hi-Beam Not Working

I'm not sure what the exact problem is, but the hi-beam isn't working on my 01.

I can't honestly remember if it was getting power or not (we took a multi-meter to it, but I'm not at home so can't check it at the time). I'll have to check it tonight and get back and post up what I find.

I have a feeling the plug-in part (that attaches to the bulb) is bad, anyone have experience with it?

And if anyone else has had this problem before, what was the solution?

I'd like to buy it asap and fix it if it's indeed the problem, as I'm looking to upgrade the lighting soon, and this is the only thing holding me back.

Thanks in advance,

Kyle

yeah i had that issue with my switch where i would have to bang the high beam switch a few times to get it to work. happened after i left her out in the rain. it could also be a faulty relay... heard of that happening before too. follow the wires and check for issues.

Fairly certain it's not the bulb, but I will most certainly check again.

I'm going to make it this week's project, so I'm hoping its something simple.

Yeah I had a bit of a problem with it. Basically High Beam came-on only if I “jumped” on the switch but worked perfectly if I used the pass switch. So, while flicking it on and off repeatedly, I gave it a good dose of WD40. Worked perfectly ever since. I also had the same problem with the kill switch which I treated in the same manner. I used WD40 as I read somewhere that some Contact Cleaners can make certain plastics brittle and I didn't want to risk that.
