why do bikes now only have high beam one low beam?
I am going to be modding my headlight in the near future and it got me wondering. Why is it, that a bike from the mid 90's has better headlights than my 05? Was there some mandate to have the headlight set up this way? I mean, if there are two headlights, why not have them both have lows and highs? Not all bikes are this way either, so whats the deal? give enough light to be safe at night.....
just curious if anyone knows why this is.

My 98 900 doesn't have a better headlight than yours I guess.....

wow, facepalm....you failz. It's a Honda, signature thing for them. You sound like someone who would come up to me at a gas station and tell me I have a headlight out
