it should be bolted to the frame or engine. And yea its a pita to get too lol.

 

you need an ohm meter, then touch either lead to the negative terminal of your battery and the other to a ground on the frame

this will tell you if there is continuity between the ground side of the battery and where it is grounded to the frame
