ok just something i found out that the headlights doesnt turn on when i switch the key on. it used to do it but idk whether is because my battery has been drained a little bit because of trying to start the bike... thoughts? thanks for the help

 

The fuel pump won't prime without headlights. Sticky start switches have been known to cause problems like this.

 

hey thanks for the help everyone i found out the problem. it wasnt the pump it was a bad connection on one of the plugs. as soon as I started disconecting it and conecting it again the pump primed. Now this plug was behind the head lights i dont want to mess up all the wires. this plug has white plastic and red wires? and comes from one of the relays behind the headlights and goes to a switch underneath the speedometer console. any thoughts?
