Default 2002 F4I Wont Start

I rode my bike yesterday. Went to turn it on today and it wont start. I am not that mechanical but this is what I know.

When I go to start the bike everything turns on. The ignition seems to be working it cranks and the bike almost starts but wont. The last couple times I rode the bike it was idling at very low rpms. I recharged the battery and tried to start it again but the same things happens. The bike almost starts but then the rpms seem to drop and it doesnt.

Thanks in advance for any help

Quick carb overhaul is what I`d do first (well after turning my idle up a lill that is, no point in jumping in the deep end first !!),.......sticky choke plate, damaged diaphram.....its not a new bike so hows that air filter ? can she breathe ?. Keep posting if no luck and dont give up mate

F4is are fuel injected. No carbs.

Recharged battery doesn't necessarily mean a good battery. Check the battery voltage. Or you can try to bump start her. If shenbump starts, it's likely the battery

Maybe it has a bad FPR and has fouled out the plugs... Just thinking.

Does it smell of raw fuel?

Is there fuel in the tank and do you hear the pump run?

Idle up didn't work...I forgot to mention when I was riding the bike it started to knock recently...do you guys have any advice on how to go about learning to take the bike apart. I was thinking of changing the filter under the gas tank next.

Thanks

Advice on taking what part of the bike apart?

Get a manual to familiarize yourself with things and just do it. Pay attention to where things go.
