Help Bike Wont Start f4i 2002
One day i went to work and my bike was just fine. then when I get off my bike first started and then died. I crank it and it fires but doesnt start. in the mil it flashes a red light and stays on when i turn the switch key on. i remember the red light would then turn on when i turn the bike on.
i change the spark plugs I change the oil i change oil filter. I cleaned the throttle body i pulled the fuel pump out and checked for any broken wires or anything bad. I pulled out the spark plugs and put them back on made sure they were tight enough and that everthing was re installed properly.
I dont know how to test it whether it is the fuel pump or anything electrical.
Anyone suggests ???

how many times does the FI light flash? FI codes will tell u what to troubleshoot.
check the battery connections. maybe they got loose. check the ignition pulse wire for damage... it's the wire on the right side, coming from the clutch cover.
if you want to test for 1) fuel and 2) spark..then you can
1) pull the fuel rail... place some towels underneath the injectors (all at once)... try to start ur bike. wet spots..means fuel is pumping out
2) pull the spark plug... while in the coil... use a screw driver or something to ground the plug (1-by-1). start the bike.. if u see spark then u have fire.

get a multimeter and check if there's voltage going to the fuel pump. if there's voltage at the pump and it still doesn't prime (doesn't make that eeeeeeeeee noise when you turn on the bike)...then you may have a bad pump.
if there isn't voltage...then bypass the relay....if that works..then u need a new relay.
if that still doesn't work...then u need to check all the sensors and headlight connection, and ecm
