Headlight problem- please help!
ORIGINAL: alekinci
does your bike start up?
i had the same problem and it turned out to be a brunted out connector in the turning signal. also, it can easily be a bad/broken connection inside the handle grip.
still, it seems that you might need to get a voltmeter.

Update- problem's been solved. I had also posted this in the f4 section and got one reply, but it was the right answer. Turns out thata wire that was soldered to some type of a circuit board inside the piece where the starter button is located had become disconnected. Had no idea how that was linked to the headlight, but it was exactly the issue. I just re-soldered it and the headlight's back. Not sure if any of the f4i's will ever have this problem but its something to keep in mind. I literally took the whole front end apart tracing all of the wiring, testing a new bulb, cleaning all connectors, adding dielectric grease etc. etc.but none of it was really necessary. Oh well, guess the bike has nice clean wiring now anyway. Thanks for the input everyone.
