Okay I noticed that my CBR has 1 headlight and the other one looks like its burnt out.. when I turn the high beams on they're both on my friend told me that one light (left side) is the low beam and then the high beam is on the right side.. is this true or do I need to replace the light? its a 2003

Just leave it. That's how they wanted it from factory then I wouldn't touch it.

hahaha. Newb :P Yeah that's normal all hondas with duel headlights are like that. As for the PCIII's you have to download a map (program) to the unit then I'm pretty sure it just piggy backs to the ECU. Not positive on that though. I did see one on ebay the other day for fifty bucks buyitnow if you're looking....

power commanders really dont make the f4i faster........... they make it run better after u mess up its stock map with a new slip on or filter

and the high beam can NEVER be a low beam, its angled different, youll have to angle it down, u might as well just leave it on all the time if u want both lights.

The stock map is fine and ideal for stock components or even just a slip on...I have a VERY unrestricted pipe with the stock tune and it runs great/ very smooth...when you add an aftermarket air filter (B&M/K&N) in addition to the slip on, you may want to get a new tune/map/pc3. The additional flow of air in (a slip on makes next to no difference on air out but hey!) calls for a new mapping of the a/f ratio. SO more than anything the new tune/pc3 tells your bike "hey theres more air flowing in and out" so lets advance timing and remap the fuel.

Anyway, regarding the headlights...the actual reflective housings in the low and high beam lens are different. The bulbs are the same. So to run that "mod" someone stated earlier would merely have you running your low and high beam together as default settings which makes no sense to me...to actually have both bulbs at "low beam" you would have to tear out the housing and reinstall another low beam housing in the high beam lens and then angle it appropriately (which I dont know why anyone would ever go through that much labor to do this?)

They make some new "ultra bright" H7 bulbs that you could stick in there or do what most do..get a DDM HID kit
