ok so a lot of sprocket q's. i use my bike to cummute 60 miles round trip for work 90 percent of the time. my question is i want extra take off power but i heard changing them will make me rev higher if im using mine on highways mostly is it going to affect it a lot or not too noticable. and is it a good upgrade for the type of driving i do ...i will never go to track or race drag or anything...i know im lame!

if you commute its better not to
especially as it will decrease your gas mileage
stick to stock

yeah, i have gearin on mine 1 down 4 up and i shift alot more. Its fine cause shiftin is fun, but my bike tops out now at 232 km/h. Cruising at highway 6th gear goin like 110 km/h which is like 60 mph im at like 9000 rpm. You do get alot more low end torque which fun, but puts gas a bit more

for your type of riding, i would recommend a -1 in the front and no change in the rear. you get better launches and will only be able to do 140 instead of 150. not a big deal. ive not noticed decreased milage but im used to 14 in my truck so anything the bike gets is a godsend to me. the only real complaint is more vibration from the higher rpm's in top gear. and front sprockets do not cost very much and you can always change it back if you don't like it.

That's my setup and I like it a lot.
