can't find a torque spec for them in the sevice manual. it just says to tighten securely(wtf). on my last ride my right one (throttle side) handlebar was moving slightly. apparantly i didn't tighten it enough. don't want to strip the clip-on. if somebody knows a torque spec can you help a fellow CBR brother out. thanks[&:]

just crank it down some more. you aren't going to strip anything! and then use loctite...and stop with the death grip on the bars!

 

no death grip here. just a SMA grip. i tightened em to 10 ft/lbs which is tighter than i had em before. i'm going ride tonight (the wife's going to girls night and getting[sm=alcoholic.gif]). nice empty roads and cool temps for me to take a spin.

 

10 ft-lbs is like nothing at all...give it more!
