therabbit- The shipping was really fast. I think i had it in 3 or 4 days but when i ordered it online, the order was processed and shipped the same day and within an hour. It was good and really cheap too.

drewbagel423- I wired it to the battery with a little circle conector(i dont know what its called) it is the same thing that is on the battery to hook it up to a batery tender. and i used a 3 amp fuse and holder i bought from radio shack. just wired it on the positive side from the battery, then to the switch, then to all the lights.

I just ordered two pairs of streetfx green epod LEDs (the rectangular ones in the black casing) to put on mines. The LEDs are six per pod, angled in different directions. The order just came in (ordered them fromwww.ironpony.com). I'm not installing them anytime soon, but I'm sure they'll look sick at night when I do.Of course I'll be posting pics of it, too. Wow, 40 Leds... doesn't that drain your battery a lot and put a strain on your voltage regulator?

I think neon tubes look far better.

LEDs look about the same, but doesn't drain your battery as fast as neons do.

It's just for show, not for riding. Yes, it is illegal in some states... especially the colors that match traffic lights and police beacons. You have to check with local laws before going on the road with them illuminated.

Not really, I dont know if you have ever seen neon tubes on a bike but they are much brighter and illuminate more than a collection of leds. Yes, tubes to use more energy but as for the battery, if you are idling above 1.5k rpms you are constantly charging you battery so there will not be much drainage.
Plus, tubes these days come with an on/off remote/switch so if you see cops you can just turn it off. I dont think leds come with a standard switch like that.

Isn't LEDs more affordable though? I priced around the Kuriyakin neon sets, and they were out of my budget, so I went and got the LEDs. 'More bang for the buck' I always say.
