Default Fuel guage doesnt reset after fillup

Got a weird problem with my fuel gauge, it wont reset its self after i fill it. But if i un-plug the connector for the display it will work n go into reserve like it should but then again once i fill it wont reset and the display still flashes empty. Doesn't matter how long I wait it just stays flashing

Any thoughts?

I would have figured the same switch that would activate the reserve would also reset it once the fuel pasted that sensor.

I have this exact problem on my gauges. This and my tacto just completely died. But i did find a temp solution for the fuel gauge but you will have to sacrifice your clock and trip meter (although total mileages aren't touched). I ended up having to pull the fuel gauge fuse out so it resets every time the bike is started, aka after refueling. I hope we can find a solution soon, although i would much rather have my tacto back.......

you know there is no fuel guage right? only a reserve guage that comes on when your low.

also, after you fill up it won't stop flashing immediately. IT takes a few minutes of riding first.

reserve gauge stays on for 90 seconds after the kickstand is up, if its put down before 90 seconds it waits another 90 after its back up.
