Default front sprocket question

i bought my bike this summer n the guy gave me a a 520 did chain with -1/0 sprockets, season is over n winter is on.. i started workin on this chain project... n i came to realize that the front sprocket has a bigger lip on one side than the other.... like if u look at the sprocket sideways(chain view) one side has a bigger lip than the other side.... the number 15 shows on one side only, so i thought that was the way it went but when i looked at the chain guide its off no matter wat way i put the sprocket.... is this suppose to be like that? idk if its even meant for the f4i. and it doesnt say any brand name on it... help please! and if its suppose to be like that the bigger lip goes to wat side?

My vortex front was like that too. Just keep the labels/imprint facing out and you should be good. Take off the chain guard so you can get a good look all the way down the chain to make sure all lines up and looks straight.

Take a short ride then inspect the sprockets for odd wear patterns inside the teeth grooves.
