I didn't mention that this was my 2nd OEM Stator cover. 1st one went on 1st crash. This cover survived because of the frame sliders. Lasted 2 street slides and a dirt run on the track. Still serviceable. Anyone know where I can get aftermarket covers. Woodcraft are too expensive IMHO.

if you are stunting this bike DONT BUY SLIDERS! they are a waste of money even if you buy freestyle inginuity sliders. mine just bent to hell after a couple of drops. i recomend a cage over sliders anyday for stunting. i have a sick innovations cage (see profile pic) and powers stuntworx are good too. Freestyle Inginuity cages are more of a "pro cage" that does not provide as much protection. if your not stunting then just get some FI sliders, they will save you for normal drops. $0.02

I only see the left side. And wow! Is it really worth 2X the price of OEM? Can I expect to drop the bike that much?

OEM covers really $50?
like I said, my NRC has been through 3 crashes, and still has at least one more in it so its well worth it
i don't think any aftermarket covers are made for the right side, it doesn't stick out enough to really cause a problem

I low sided mine at the track and while it did save a lot of fairing damage, some fairing still got a little damaged, and the stator cover has some deep gashes in it as well. (no leaks, though)
It ground the slider down quite a bit, and it saved A LOT of expensive major damage, but they aren't 100% sportbike protectors. I'll try to find the brand when I get back. (they came on the bike)

As far as the bike fallin over in the driveway, they won't do much.

Nice to know. Yeah, I just used Ronayers.com for a price comparison. About 51 bux. Sorry OP, we're not jacking your thread.[sm=icon_quiet.gif]
