Frame slider / Stunt cage / Street cage
Hello riders,
I'm currently looking for some new frame sliders to protect my bike from stationary tip overs and low speed drops. I currently have the Shogun frame sliders on my 2001 F4i. I've had them installed for a few months now and I've finally gotten some use out of it. I was practicing motojitsu drills in a parking lot and low sided the bike on the left side. The frame slider did a good job of protecting the plastics but the stator cover took the grunt of the damage.
I'm curious to see if there are other frame sliders out there that would protect the stator cover in the event of a fall or low side.
If not, would a street cage or stunt cage be better for my type of practice? Does anyone have any experiences with a stunt cage versus a street cage?
Thanks,
