Default cage question

why doesnt everyone cage there bikes? is there a disadvantage to normal riding with a cage?

I would think for cosmetic reasons. I think it distracts from the beauty of the motorcycle, but you do see them on stunt bikes quite a bit. As far as the ride...I don't know how eady/difficult the cage makes it.

but the protection it offers to kep it that shiny is better than nothing right.

i have been thinking about a cage instead of frame sliders myself. just havent made the final decesiona nd ordered it yet... it slike stunters use cages and were supposed to keep teh frame sliders.. iono.. cage looks good to me

yeah i'm with you on this one. i dont want to stunt but if somthing did go wrong that cage is WAY better than the sliders id imagin

A cage will stop you from taking corners hard. You will end up hitting the cage on the ground. And a cage says "I stunt" to cops. I would say if you are going to take hard corners, go with race rails. If you are just going to do wheelies and ride fast in a straight line than go with a cage. They do their job when it comes to it.
