Finally 01-03 Conversion Finished

Oh man! Your not going to go and make me take the front seat off in the middle of the night are you? hahahaha I had those pic in photo bucket. I took them weeks ago to help out another guy. I can tell you this though, the thread is the same and the bolt shaft length is the same, they go straight into the subframe. the only difference is that the 04-06 bolts have a 12mm hex head and the 01-03 bolts require and allen wrench which size escapes me right now.
Oh ya. I got the bolts from a motorcycle used parts store here in my city and payed next to nothing really. I think they only chared me about 10 bucks.

Aside from the pieces for the tail conversion itself, only things I have had to order are the hook bolts (frankenstein bolts) which were nearly $30, the washers for the hook bolts $2.21, and the hex bolts w/ support bosses $8.21 like mentioned in my last post. Both available at several online stores including a few vendors/sponsors on here, or you local Honda dealer which actually was actually cheaper than ordering them from ronayers (wanted 11.95s&h for $5.95 in parts[sm=lame.gif]).
Looks good. But I gotta say if you are not painting the tail to match the factory blue then the conversion is a bust. IMO the only way to do this is to make it look stock.
Why go half way on this? You done it for looks as I did when I had my f4i but you stopped short of the goal line =).

Bro you can go to cyclesurge.com and get a rattle can with that factory honda color. If you take your time and prep it really good you can pull it off. Couldnt look any more out of place then that black =).
