Looks good! do you plan on painting the tail? Also did you change the front seat suport bolts ( the bolts that hold the seat bracket and rear of the gas tank). Many who do the conversion don't know they must be changed.

Here are some pics of the bolts I'm referring to and where they are located

The pencil is pointing to the required 01-03 bolts.......................and yes there's beer in that cooler

I drew circles in magic marker to the underside of the rider's seat to show the area that is supported by the bolts. Without these bolts there is no supportat the front of the seat. This places too much strain at the front part of the tail cowl during braking and cornering which can and probably will cause stress cracks at the two bolts on either side of the cowl.

Oh man! Your not going to go and make me take the front seat off in the middle of the night are you? hahahaha I had those pic in photo bucket. I took them weeks ago to help out another guy. I can tell you this though, the thread is the same and the bolt shaft length is the same, they go straight into the subframe. the only difference is that the 04-06 bolts have a 12mm hex head and the 01-03 bolts require and allen wrench which size escapes me right now.

Oh ya. I got the bolts from a motorcycle used parts store here in my city and payed next to nothing really. I think they only charged me about 10 bucks.
