All my coils and plugs are firing, Do i need to gap the plugs however? NKG iridiums? also i pulled my fuel rail off and tested my injectors the pressure builds up so much when i try to start it that shoots one of my injectors out!!! Im just trying things now i dunno what else to do. I think its a pressure regulator because the pressure was not regulated at all when the injector jumped out.lol

Mcmuscle easy way to check your fuel pressure regulator.
1. Take the vacuum line off your regulator (small hose on the bottom)
2. Put the key in the ignition switch to on
3. Turn your run switch on run you should here your fuel pump prime
If there's fuel coming out of FPR where the vacuum line was then your FPR is bad.
Let us know what happens

That's normal. FI light should be on any time the engine isn't running.
9 short blinks is an IAT sensor error. So you had that disconnected, causing it to blink. That sensor could be bad, but I've started my bike without that sensor plugged in and it ran fine.

hold off on a new FPR for now. That's a $80 part and a bit messy to install.
was there a solid red light before the 9 fast blinks? becuz that would mean 19... which would fit your symptoms better. The IAT sensor is just a resistor. Even without it, the bike would not act the way it does.
clear your codes from the ECU and see if any new one come. But in the mean time, check for code 19. On the right side of your bike, where the oil window is, there is a wire coming out from the clutch cover. Follow that wire to the Ignition Pulse Generator, look for any damage or loose connections. An electrical short could cause by a bad ground. Refer to the service manual for the test procedures.

there is only a solid light right when the fuel pump im asuming kicks on, like soon as iturn the on switch on, it stays on then quits, then flashed 9 times. I checked the wire, didnt see any wear or anything, my wire has a rubber protective covering over it and im assuming it come that way stock?tried starting it today, it was hitting but wouldn't run.
