ok I have a 2001 cbr 600 f4i. when i turn on the key i dont get any spart or fuel. no fi messages. when i tested the crank pulse generator in AC i get .05 i think it was while cranking.i have been reading but i couldnt really find an answer to my question. my clymer book told me how to test the yellow wire on the ecm and to check the ecm for power but i have been hearing about an alarm system? how do i find out if the alarm system is my problem or not. i never even knew it had an alarm system either.

 

Have you tried the angle sensor in the headlight assembly, i recently did a complete rebuild had every thing connected exept the head light (didnt think i needed it to start the bike ) , when you turn on the ignition you should hear the sound of the fuel-pump, if you dont hear this check the connecter or the sensor it's self

 

im sorry but i stated it where i said i dont get any fuel lol. the bank angel sensor is fine but i bypassed it anyways because i am going to end up with aftermarket front end. i believe i found my problem earlier today. my ignition switch that came with the bike dont have a pink wire it only has 2 wires so im going to insert a resistor and add the other 2 wires after i get done painting my buddies bike tomorrow.

 

well i went and ordered a new switch base from cheapcycleparts. but i just hooked up a 9volt batt to the pink wire and my 480 dollar bike runs great lol.
