testing fuel pump ( need confirmation)
this is how i did it..i just want confirmation plz..
i pulled out the fuel outlet line from the fuel pump and directed it to a bucket...
when i turned the key to "on" no gas was comming out...
and my dad told me to start the engine.... and i did with the start button... than we saw gas comming out of the line...

fuel pump ony pumps while cranking and running, so i would say yes your pump is working. Can't say the filter is good but it is good enough to let gas through. What is the problem you are having??
my bike has difficulty starting up sometimes... and requires me to play with the idle ****... and give it some gas...
before my bike would stall wehn im stopped at a red light...(with plenty gas inside)./.. i cleaned outt he air filter cause it was filthy...and thought it solved the issue..but just yesterday it was having some mild difficulty starting up again...
i m gona buy a new fuel filter and see if it makes a difference...
im not sure in how to take apart the petcock to inspect that part tho...
