Default F4i issue

Hi everyone, first time posting on here and new to the forum and I'm having a issue with my 2001 cbr 600 f4i, so far it's all stock except for a knn air filter, bike ran perfectly fine a few days ago and now when I went to go ride it's losing powers, bogs down, at idle it goes very low then revs high, and smells like gas and exhaust sounds like it's back firing more like a popping noise. Also the FI light came on and flashed twice and I know the code is a map sensor but I tested it and the map sensor is fine. Took the bike out today and it seems like it's fine. It's idling normal and at it's normal temperature. Also sounds like the engine is ticking as well. Anyone have any similar experience with there bike as well. And can help me out. The weather is nice out and I can't ride

Sounds to me like your loosing spark. My bike did the same thing as i was getting it running again last summer.

You may want to lookin into doing a spark plug chage if you havent (ever).

Thanks for the response, I will take the bike apart and check the plugs, I was planning changing them soon just didn't have the time too, and I don't know when the last time they were changed. Also is it normal for the bike to shake kinda bad at idle?. Seems kinda rough.
