Default Gas Issue

So I've noticed when i get going at higher speeds around turns, it feels like my leg is being sprayed with gas. i also noticed it going up a hill as it sprayed my visor. i decided to see if there was a hole somewhere and i noticed these 2 hoses. can anybody tell me if they're supposed to be connected somewhere? this is on an 02 f4i.

Those are tank vents. The little one vents the inside to the air (to the EVAP canister on California models). The large one is the drain from the filler area that runs out the bottom of the bike.

Yes.
Do you have fuel coming out of them?
How in the world would something underneath you leak on your visor at speed?

I didn't notice that they were wet or anything like that. I have no idea.
