Angry F4i fuel pump not priming

Alright so heres the run down on what is going on..
I go into school and i always lock my bike. Well when i got off of school today i saw that the igniton was all broken someone had tryed to steal her and must have not known what they were doing because they couldnt get past that lock .. well i took it home on my truck and started to take a look and saw that they also had some of the igniton wires spliced.. i found a way to get the bikes power on and its turning over but the fuel pump isnt priming so i read to use a jumper wire or something like that? well i did this and it works but the min. i turn the bike off it wont work again.. the FI light just stays on and no fuel pump prime what does this mean? THank you

That sucks that someone tried to jack your bike. If I remember correctly you need to follow the pink wire in your ignition and that will take you to a diode. You'll eed to measure the volts at the diode, you should be getting 9V I believe, if your not then you'll need to replace it. For more info type in "pink wire" in the search field and you should get some pretty solid results. Good luck!

with you head lights not turning on...do you have "brights" indicated on, on your cluster?? if you got that with out a fuel pump prime, but engine will still crank...check the main harness (green wire - ground for BAS - doesn't have continuity, most likely).
