Hey I bought a 1999 cbr600 which has been completely swapped to 01 600 rear front cowl and wire harness and engine ... ok the bike was dropped and I can't get the fuel pump to prime when cutting on bas is. New all fuses new only thing missing is the turn signal wires have been cut ... I can't jump the pump and it will drive no problem . Thanks ..

 

If you have an F4i engine does that mean you FI'ed it as well or is the bike still carb'ed? If its FI'ed your best bet is with them because they are more familiar with FI.

 

A common problem after messing with the front cowl and the bike will not start is that the BAS is installed upside down. The fact that the fuel pump will not prime makes me believe that this is the case here. It has happened to many other people and it's an easy mistake but also fairly easy to fix.

 

Which is where I was leading to because the F4 doesn't have bas in the upper fairing.

 

Yea the bas is in the right position turns out the pink wire from the ig. That tells the ecm to prime pump got pinched in half so I tested the diode and it blew as well so that what the problem was. I had to think about it because the bike is a 99 bit only the front frame is everything else is 01 parts thanks.for the help
