If you go over 120 you need full leathers, otherwise leather jacket, gloves and boots that
are above the ankle with jeans.

What are the requirements? Safety shutoff lanyard? full leathers or just a jacket? Looking to run my f4i once sometime this year, just looking for exactly what I need.

Also, where in the lane is the best, off center in the groove that cars use? Is a burnout necessary?
No a burnot is definitely not needed unless your bike is pushing much more than f4i power or so or if u were extended it would be needed. Yes over 120mph leathers are required I got away with it for few weeks until I started running near 10sec @ 123-124mph with my f4i. You should go try it very fun experience, just sold my 04 f4i looking into 1000rr now just for 1/4 mile fun

Yes, ride where car tires will usually be. The car tires will drag the track adhesive out for a better grip surface. And there's always a chance of a car leaking something, and most often it will be in the middle. Basically the same reasons you shouldn't ride in the center of a normal road lane.

Go to yoshimura r&d web page , go to clearence section.. order bmc race filter $30 will add 1-2whp dropped me down a tenth or two. Run some 100octane unleaded fuel on near empty tank with small amount of 91.. pc3 will sort the rest out. When I got mine and dyno tuned it droped me s couple tenths. Bike ran 11.21@123.5 but I weigh 205+ fully geared so bmc filter is def a start I would find used pc3 to even things out first, also u can lower rear tire pressure
