Anybody seen this crud buildup on their tach? I think the plastic melted cause it won't come off!

 

Is it on the inside or outside?? What cleaners do you use on your bike? I used some armor all rim cleaner to get off the grease and clean the rims. I got some on my pipe and it stained it white a little...

 

I had that, but it was on my gas tank and right fairing too, from what i figured either someone threw milk or white watered down paint at my bike because it came off. Good luck with yours.

 

I never have cleaned it with anything but water and a cloth. I think the sun messed it up. It's only on the tach, which is weird, Da*nit!

 

could be brake fluid, bird ****, ***, spit

 

if it is on the outside, go get rubbing compound, something like3M Perfect-It III and use that, it should clean it off if it is not too bad and will also take away light scratches and make it very shinny again
