Question Oil Leak ? Or just gunk build up ?

So now that I've had my petcock fixed (was causing a fuel leak and was just getting everything really dirty and soaked in gas) I can differentiate what was getting dirty from that and what are individual problems. I woke up this morning and saw a little tiny bit of black liquid under my baby with some white/yellowish gooey stuff in it. I'm pretty sure that's just condensation build up and the black stuff is extra chain lube that I used yesterday that may have "fallen off" in the night. Now to the real problem though, when inspecting the oil on the floor I came to notice that there is a lot of black build up on the left bottom side of what I think is the oil pan ? It's on the left side of the bike right in front of the EVAP canister. When I noticed this I remembered that this black gooey stuff was also in my front sprocket cover when I changed my chain and sprockets about 2 - 3 months ago. I just figured it was buildup from the chain/chain lube and dirt... Now that its also down on the oil pan (i think its the "oil pan" correct me if i'm wrong) area too I'm beginning to worry that I might be leaking oil from something. This would suggest a major problem yes ? If needed I can post pictures. I'm going to take some anyways today because I'm going to clean up the bike including the engine and I want to see if the stuff comes back to confirm if it is a leak or to see if it was just build up. Thanks for any insight ahead of time.

clean it good, then ride and recheck...

Try to see where it's coming from before it makes a mess everywhere.

+1 When dealing with leaks, step one is always a thorough and complete cleaning/degreasing.
