yea should be reusable. My valve covers been off about 5 times and ive just reused it every time.

Ive got cut framesliders-5". That should do it.

It's worse than I thought. I need to either get it welded or replaced. I know welding would save me a lot of work and time (possibly $$$). What do you guys think?

there are alot of things ide say welding would be okay but welding the head is def a NO NO lol

Also, the mount from the T-REX frame sliders is stuck there and I can't get it out. I have no idea how it was put in there at first place. Any ideas of how to get it out?

from looking at the kit there should be a bolt?

the head is machined cast aluminum i beleive... by welding it your likely to actually make things worse... alot of cast metals are a pita to weld you could probably use that liquid metal stuff for the valve cover if you REALLY had to but it wont hold forever... i did that on my wifes cougar till i could get a new oil pan...

also i know for a fact that attempting to weld the valve cover will blow big holes in it haha been there tried that... but the op said he already got a new cover

there was a bolt at the bottom which i've removed. i am able to move it slightly but i cant get it out. it's blocked by the frame and the cover itself.
