Suing T-REX Racing would be an option. My engine would be fine if it wasnt for their damn frame sliders Oh and I bought the cover already. Now I need to get the head. Waiting for the cover to come in mail. fml.

Sorry to hear the damage is worse. Suing T-Rex would be a waste of time and dollars because you'd lose.

+1 i assume they have some kind of warning saying they are not liable for any damage their sliders may or may not cause you bike....

trex makes a good set of sliders lol just not the no cuts

no cut sliders would work great if the engineers behind them would do a little more research... the problem you and others ran into could easily be fixed by adding some support behind the slider... or a extra bolt point

I really appreciate it. You didnt get back at me with the price of the head alone. Thanks.

If that's only a water jacket or an oil gallery and you know a good welder with a spool gun it can be fixed. The trick to fixing those is to drill at the end of the crack to keep it from expanding. Still, You're probably best off replacing it anyway. The little bit extra you'll spend will be worth the peace of mind IMO

Agreed Those ones I got from you look pretty good and definately going to be strong enough to function if they ever need to (knock on wood)

You think a company selling $30 frame sliders can afford an "engineer"?...

LOL

Wow.. thats terrible. Waste of a head!

Note to self - never use no-cut's. The sliders on my F4i use the rearward fairing mount bolt to hold them on. If dropped at a low speed or stopped they work great. At highspeed drops they simply breakoff preventing frame/engine damage. In my opinion, they work great.
