Default different exhaust on different bikes!!

ok guys., let's say i have an 06 f4i...i'm thinking about doing a 2bro's or an akrapovich s/o...so i was thinking(this might sound weird)
is the bracket the only thing that makes the difference from a 929 or 954 with my 06 f4i?? or are thereother things that i should now...like the inside system,or every model has it special made exhaust??
Do you see what i mean??

i don't quite get the point , but in any case it won't make your f4i sound like 954 and be powerful as 929, but i can bet, the muffler are the same, the midpipes should be different, but still very similar.. just buy f4i exhaust, bro

Sometimes the best thing to do is just tear down and start piecing it together. If your pal is too far away then it's pretty hard to guess without proper dimension checking. If it's near buy, just try it out to see if it fits, otherwise ask some of the 954 guys about inlet dims and such. Midpipes are about the only thing that varies from bike to bike, cans normally interchange.

929's n 954s have a bolt on canister with a cone on the mid-pipe do they not? Which wouldnt allow em to work with most of the slipons for the F4/i's that I've seen. Now if you make or mod your own mid-pipe, then anything is possible really. A can for a larger cc bike may not be as restrictive n you may have to tune your bike to retain bottom end power tho.
