So I've had my F4i for about 3 months now. Only about 5000 miles and I bought it used at about 3500. Around 5400-5600RPM it gets a loud rattle/vibration/clicking, but only in that narrow RPM band, more or less through all gears. I did a little research on the forum and it sounds like its the Cam Chain Tensioner (CCT). So I guess 3 questions:
1) Based on the descriptions does it sound like a CCT issue? (I'm gathering its common with these bikes) Also what does CCTL stand for?
2) Can it damage the bike?
3) If it needs to be replaced do you recommend OEM or aftermarket (I've read mixed reviews on the APE manual)
