Bike died the other day
hey guys not sure whats up with my bike, rode to school for my night class, when i got there decided i wanted to move it, bike wouldnt start
it primed an turned over once or twice then the relay would just click, took battery out, got it tested voltage was ok, cca were only like 55, supp to be 180-190 is what they (napa) told me.
anyway had a buddy pick me up, got the bike home, hooked the battery up to a car, charged it, and ive been using the bike around town last night an today no problems???
so im wondering what couldve caused the battery to drain? to school is 35 miles highway, normally im just doing twisty sutff, also recently cut all the wires in the rear for an integrated but felt it wasnt bright enough so i put all the stock stuff back, an everything works fine so not sure if that has anything to do with it

Check regulator. I had my bike do that on me(f2). Rode around for about 20-35 miles everything seemed good and then BAM...dead. Charged the battery up and it was fine. Looked at the out put of the battery when the bike was running finding out it wasn't charging. Got a new regulator and it solved the problem

I hope that car you used was NOT running. If your R/R wasn't fried before it proly is now (if the car was running) and possibly your stator too. NEVER EVER hook your bike up to a running auto, the alternator puts out way too much amperage for our bikes electrical system to properly handle.
