if you cant stand the heat then get out of the kitchen, get off your bike, and move to alaska.
bikes get hot plain and simple. i have those long sliders and they get hot too.

 

i was just suprised at HOW hot it got - and that it took a few months of riding for me to notice, it was my 4th or 5th long trip and on all the others it never got that hot... but the temperature may have been a bit more chilly outside so I just didn't notice. I just wanted to make sure everything was fine w/my bike :-)
