Battery issues

Check your idle set speed. IIRC should be around 1300 +-150

The bike is running rough at the end of a ride when idling so guess it is the stator.. will be going to the shop to do check as I have no garage or tools....

This little problem makes me miss my garage and tool boxes...Hong Kong and the lack of space (or money to buy the space) is a pain in the ***...
now Im looking to buy a house so I change this.....

Actually reading it that way, I'm thinking it's pointing to the voltage regulator.

You don't need alot of tools to test the charging system. Just get a volt meter and measure the batteries volts when the engine is on idle. Rev the engine to 5,000 RPM and see how many volts the battery read. It should read more than 12 volts. If it does then you have a short somewhere. If the volt stays the same then it’s the stator or the regulator.
