Default Battery help

Hello,
I was just stranded at a local store for a bit because my battery died on me. The guy at auto-zone tested it and said it was bad, but thay had none in stock for my bike. So i went to the local honda store and they can have one for me by tomorrow but for $150. So i was wondering are their any other batteries that are cheaper out there. I want one that will last a good amount of time, but don't really want to pay $150. Also when I went back to my bike to try to push start it, it decided to start, but this is the third time the battery has died in the last month. Thanks

I use Yuasa batteries in my bikes. Yep, they're pricey but I know I can depend on them...& that means alot to me. Batteries are def one of those things where you generally get what you pay for. So keep that in mind.

However, that being said, one bike I bought used had an *Interstate* battery in it. It provided good service for the duration of its life. Their online price appears to be about in the same price-range you list. However, I discovered that local dealers tend to have lower prices. So maybe that's an option.

I will say this... Don't expect the motorcycle batteries from Walmart to be sufficient. I had to use one of those in an "emergency" situation at one point while on a trip, & discovered they are very lacking. :\

Good luck.
