Banana handle removal-help
So I am looking to remove my banana handle as i don't like the look of it. Now i am looking to cover up the holes that are left from removing it. Do any of you guys know what i could use, is there such a thing made to fill up the holes? I was thinking of using black electrical tape for now. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

RE: Banana handle removal-help
What I did was cut the handle near the base and then filed and sanded the piece down. I then painted it a glossy black to match my cowl and bolted it back on the bike. This way it still had the stock factory bolt on method, just has the handle part cut off. Dont use a grinder as it will heat up the metal waaaay too much and **** up any chance u have at getting a nice smooth surface. There is a writeup on here somewhere. A guy even did that and drilled a hole between the crews and mounted a red LED light there. It was strictly for show as it did nothing for lighting up the ground and too small to be seen by rear cars. Just a thought man. Good luck
I have a Power bronze rear cowl to cover up the rear portion of my banana seat when my gf is not on the back. looks pretty good

RE: Banana handle removal-help
It's a little more expensive and a lil more work, but another option..... get an F4 tail. '99-00 F4 and '04-06 F4i had the exact same tail fairing EXCEPT for the handle.... F4 did not have it. So it's a direct swap for your tail, just minus the holes. Only thing is you have have to paint it and put new stickers on if you want them
Just an idea.... and ebay is your friend
