depends on how much you are paying. when it comes to bodywork you get what you pay for usually. look for dirt in the paint and/or orange peel. Orange peel is when the finish of the paint as ripples like the peel of an orange(if you didnt know). and just take your sweet *** time installing the plastic. I also don't like to install the plastics the same day. The clear could be alittle soft yet...(maybe)

another thing to look for is called "fisheyeing" it's basically spots where grease was left on the bodywork, and when you paint it, the paint moves away from that spot. you can end up with spots where the color didn't take, and sometimes spots where you got color, but then a piece of greasy dust landed, and you end up with a missing spot of clear coat.

Don't tighten bolts too much. My aftermarket paint cracked near a couple mounting points from over torque. Luckily it was cheap and I ride my bike so I expect stuff like that. But it's avoidable.
Just be careful reinstalling fairings. Don't let them drag on the ground and whatnot. Not hard to reinstall.
