Advice on purchasing a damaged 2004 CBR F4i
#11
I don't want to part it out, I want a good project bike to work on. The title is clean and no problems with that. So my best options would be to get a new engine and slap it on there rather than trying to fix the engine. So should I ask the guy to drop the price due to the engine completly blown? If so abeer1 you might be getting an email from me soon if I get this bike.
And don't ask the guy to drop the price. Haggle. You offer a price lower than you're willing to settle for. He counters. Back and forth until you agree. And bring cash when you make an offer, because a quick sale is good motivation to lower the price some.
