2003 f4i bogging help
Hi Guys,
I'm facing issues with my 2003. bike idles fine and pulls well through gears. however the second I get to 7000RPM it bogs down. from 7000-8000RPM its running really badly with no power. then from 8000RPM the bike kicks back in and takes off like a rocket. this has caught me out several times now in lower gears making me pull unintential wheelies, or having the back kick out from sudden powergain.
-it only happens at 7000RPM and lasts until 8000RPM.
-Rolling off throttle and back on makes no diffrence. only option is to drop a gear pushing it over 8k or power through to 8k
-had aftermarket black widow can. purchaed and fitten stock can (sugested). no diffrence
-just had new plugs and new air filter fitted at garage. no diffrence
-garage checked for fault codes. none present
-oil changed. no diffrence
any ideas what could be causing this? outside of that rpm range the bike works flawlesly.
Thanks
Dave
