Hey guys, I am new here and new to the bike as well. I just bought this bike, and as luck would happen a friend of mine was helping me load it onto a trailer and let go of the bike. It fell while stationary, not running, on the left side. Now today I went to ride, and as soon as I shifted from Neutral into first, I couldn't shift out of first.

Now as far as I can tell, the shifter itself is not bent, nor is the linkage. Is there something small I am missing, or did something bend that I am not aware of? I am new to the bike so please be fairly basic in your descriptions, still learning the lingo haha.

got any pics? cant say for sure with out seeing it

 

check if the clutch cable is tight. Might need adjusting.
