94 CBR F2 wont shift out of neutral

Default 94 CBR F2 wont shift out of neutral

Hi everyone Im new to this forum thing and im sorry if i missed a thread on this topic, but I have a 94 CBR 600 F2 that just got a new clutch kit installed and it drove fine but now if will not shift out of neutral. I would like to thank you all for the help.

Ive had the same problem. all i did was hold in the clutch and rock the bike really hard backwards and forwards. that should free it up and you should be able to kick it into neutral afterwards. not sure why it happens but thats just a quick fix if it happens again.

You need to check your installation of the clutch. The order of installation is very important. You should also measure the pack and be sure it is in spec.

I am assuming that you verified your clutch cable adjustment? If you got it in the proper place originally, and failed to tighten the lock nuts for the cable, things might have vibrated/shifted to where you're not getting proper engagement/disengagement of the clutch.

Other than that, like Duck said, you'll have to re-check your installation, and verify your plate stack is correct.
Did you torque all the bolts to spec?
