I have been doing the standard oil changes, tire replacements, brake checks ect....

I am about to roll over 10k miles on this bike, them's the brakes of daily driving my bike I guess. 70 miles round trip 5 days a week, even in the rain.

What do I need to do to this ole' Gal at her 10k mile anniversary?

 

nothing yet! 12K semi-major service...valve check and adjusted if needed, i would also do the fork oil swap...but they charge way too much for it...then your standard stuff.

since you need to check the valves, might as well swap out the fuel filter too but not necessary.

 

Do you know tahoe , the fork oil density for this machine ?

 

just keep on checking stuff like: brake pads, filters, brake fluid, sparkplugs, etc



and worry about the big 16K

 

not off the top of my head...i think it's in the MOM and the manual...if you have those.
