What year F2? Sounds like you have an after market speedometer set up. Early F2s have a mechanical speedo cable, gear driven from the front wheel. No magnets. Later models used electronics from the counter shaft area.

You have to remove the two seat side panels to remove the seat.

yeah its a 1992 f2 model and your right it is cable driven, but like the cable near the wheel jus keeps coming out and there's nothing holding it in place i was wondering if there's jus a little piece that hold it together.

and thanks for the tip on the seat

there should be a phillips head screw holding the speedo into the wheel hub. It is a metric threaded screw.
