Default More electrical problems......

Problem #1

Okay i got my new relay for my signals so now its time to learn how to wire it all up. Coming from the relay i have 1 wire still attached to the harness and 2 just cut and hanging in the air. I need to know where these 2 wires go and all ill need are the sockets/harnesses for the front signals(i have the lens') Anyone have a set of sockets/harnesses laying around thatll work on the f2 front turns? I attached a pic so you can see what im workin with. I assume green is a ground so i can just ground it correct?

Problem #2

When i use my front brake i get no brake light. Thought i figured this one out when i saw the connector disconnected but i reconnected it and it does nothing so i assume the switch is bad. Is it just a normally open contact or what does the switch actually do? Should i just replace it?

reading pwns me, looks like the brown wire is power and the green wire is ground. The turn signal switch is still intact.

Check this!

I have in my bike Black and Brown, but i remember you said you have another color with the brown stripe.

with your brake switch problem, check when you push the brake pad, must be continuity on brake switch, check if the spring is good, if you don't have continuity try to clean it. but maybe it's time to change that switch.

okay so i hooked up the 2 cut wires (found them in the harness) and reconnected them using a piece of 22awg stranded wire. Now i still do not have any signal bulbs in but i thought it would at least blink the cluster lights but i still have nothing when i hit the signal switch. Also i noticed when i hit the signal switch to the right or left it snaps back to the middle when i let go, is that normal? Will my signals work when i plug them in? I want my signals back!!!!!

Also, in the a slot on my fuse box i only see one wire going to the fuse, shouldnt there be 2 going there? It also says the taillight is on that circuit and its working......wtf?

my friend, you need have the bulbs on the bike. if you don't have any blink on the cluster maybe you have another wire broken or cut. if you have a voltmeter check voltages on the left and right (front/rear too) harness.

you must have 2 left orange harness(1-front, 1-rear near tail light), and with the voltmeter check the voltage, hit the turn signal selector to the left and you must have blinks 0-12V. check those first and then hit the switch to the right and check the other 2 harness.

upload pics of your fuse box, i can help you more if i see what you have.

I'll get some updated pics tonight when I get home. I'm tired of these problems popping up!
